Design

Had rolled plate turret with a L/40 gun installed in an angular gun cradle. Late models had all steel wheels and a cast turret.

Main Armament

The T-34/76 Model 1941 had a 76.2 mm Model 1940 L/41.5 gun installed.1 The cast cradle for the gun was replaced by a bolted type.1

Turret

In 1942 a cast turret was installed.9 Some models had two perisopes in the turret roof.1

Usage

When the T-34/76 Model 1941 was first being distributed to the Red Army they were often used by the platoon or company commanders.1
