Soviet Union's T-29 medium tank
Design
In 1934 at the Kirov factory in Leningrad, their design bureau made a variant of the T-28 with a Christie type suspension.2 M.I. Koshkin (designer of the T-34) was a member of the design team.2,3
The T-29 could go as fast on wheels as on tracks.2
Was cancelled when T-34 was accepted for production.3
Transmission
All of the axles on the T-29-5 were driven by multiple transmissions.2
