Was designed to couter the German King Tiger.1 Pilot models were ordered in 1944 and were finished in early 1945.1 Production was authorized, but the Army Ground Forces didn't want such a large tank.1 There were 6 pilots that were delivered in 1947.1

Had basic hull design of T26E3.1 Driver used a joystick and foot-pedal for breaking.1 There were 2 loaders for the 105 mm gun.1

T30 Heavy Tank:

Designed at same time as the T29.1 Pilot models started constructing in April 1945 and were delivered in 1947.1

The 155 mm fired 2 piece (shell and charge) ammunition.1 The loader was helped by a powered rammer.1

T32 Heavy Tank:

Was based on the M26, but with more armor.1 4 pilot models were made in 1945 and 1946.1

Counterweight added to rear of turret.1 The hull front was welded.1
