Design/Production

Marmon-Herrington designed and produced some tanks in the late 1930s for export.1

240 were ordered for China and the Netherlands East Indies.1 However, they were not delivered because of the Japanese advances in 1942.1 These were purchased by the US Army, who designated them the T14 and T16.1

Description

T14 (CTLS-4TAC): Left handed drive.1

T16 (CTLS-4TAY): Right handed drive.1

Usage

CTL6 and CTM-3TBD: The US Marine Corps bought a couple of them.1

T14, T16: These were used in Alaska and other remote war zones.

Exported to Iran.1
