Guy Armored Cars

The Guy was selected after a long trial.1 The pilot used riveted construction.1 Guy later used welding construction that speeded up production.1

101 were built, but then Guy got involved in the production of other vehicles so production on the armored car was stopped.1 They however, continued to produce the hulls and turrets that were sent to the Karrier company for building the Humber armored car.1

Built on a Guy Quad Ant artillery tractor chassis.1 It used four wheel drive without independent suspension.1

A few saw action in France and then were used for training.1
