Design
The de Havilland DH.89 Dominie was based on the Dragon Rapide civilian transport.1
Radio Trainer
The radio trainer had a direction finding loop on top of the fuselage.1
Prototype
The DH.89 was first flown on April 17, 1934.1
Production
Manufacturing started at de Havilland in Hatfield and was moved to Brush Coachworks in 1942 to make space for Mosquito construction.1 Construction went until July 1946.1

- DH.89A: Introduced in 1936.1 Had flaps.1 Added a light in the nose.1
