Development work on the Chi-To began in 1943.^3,4 Due to the war situation very few were produced and they were left in the home islands for the coming Allied invasion.⁴

Main Armament

A 75 mm antiaircraft gun was used.⁴

Only 6 prototypes were constructed by 1945.
