Japan's Sumida Type 2593 (Type 93) armored cars

Photos

Design

The Type 93 had 6 wheels. It could be used on rails or road. The Type 93 was reported to be able to go from rail to road in 10 minutes. This was facilitated by having built in jacks to raise the vehicle for removing the wheels.

Usage

Used primarily in China. Were sometimes placed back to back so that a pair could quickly go in either direction.
