Design
Had the blisters on the sides of the fuselage removed.1 These were replaced by a turret on the top of the fuselage.1
Production
The first G4M2 flew in November 1942.3

- G4M2 ??: Had Kasei 21 engines with water injection and 4 blade propellars.1
