47 mm Gun on L 6/40 chassis, Semovente 47/324:
Used L6/40 chassis.
Gun was placed inside a box like superstructure. It fired a 3.25 lb AP shell at a muzzle velocity of 2,100'/sec.4
After Armistice sent
some to be used by Croat forces. Also used in Africa, Russia, and Italy.
Some converted to command versions with 8 mm MG made to look like larger
caliber gun.
Command: 8 mm MG replaced main gun.3 Radio was placed in free space.3 One was assigned to each company.3
