PzKpfw III Ausf D (39K)

Thirty (chassis nos. 60221-60225 and 60316-60340) were built between January and June 1938. New suspension7 with angled leaf springs, new sprockets, idlers, and transmission. Had four fuel tanks, instead of two, but still contained same amount of fuel.7

Used FuG5 radio.3

Usage

Used in Poland and Norway.7 Withdrawn before invasion of France.12
