Panzerkampfwagen II Ausf J (VK1601):

From April to December 1942 22 were produced (chassis nos. 150201-150222) by MAN.

Similar to Ausf G but increased armor to 80 mm front, 50 mm sides and rear, and 25 mm on top. A new Maybach HL 45 p, 150 hp engine was installed. 20 mph max speed.

Seven were issued to the 12th Panzer Division during 1943 and saw action on the Eastern front.
