51 (chassis nos. 8011-10477) were converted by Daimler-Benz from Ausf As in September 1939 to be ammunition carriers that would resupply the panzers under enemy fire. Height of only 1.4 m, armor in front was 15mm and the sides and rear was 13 mm. Had a crew of 2.

Served in Poland and France.
