Design
Had a double baffle muzzle brake to reduce recoil.1
Ammunition
The KwK 43 used the same ammunition, with some cartridge case modifications, as the PaK 43.1
The high velocity ammunition wore down the barrel quickly.1 Later production versions were made with barrels in two parts.1
