Germany's Messerschmitt Bf. 109 H Fighter1,2
Design
Was based on the airframe of the Bf 109 F and had a pressurized cockpit to be used at high altitudes.2
The Bf 109 H-0 preproduction model had a Daimler-Benz DB 601 E-1(1,300 hp) with GM1 nitrous oxide boost.2
Production
Few were built as there were wing flutter problems.2 It was abandoned in favor of the Focke-Wulf Ta 152.2
Usage
Used by Germany in France starting in early 1944.2
