The Junkers Ju 86 was one of the first bombers used by the Luftwaffe. However, it didn't perform as well and was moved to secondary duties. The Ju 86 was later made into a very high altitude reconnaissance version with much success.

France's Bloch MB 174 reconnaissance and Bloch MB 175 light bomber added

The French rushed to catch up to the Germans, but they just didn't have enough time before Germany started World War II in Europe. One late arriving design was the Bloch MB 174 and Bloch MB 175. These performed rather well during the war and a variant was even produced after the war for the French Navy.

United Kingdom's Blackburn Botha reconnaissance added

The United Kingdom was desperate in the early years leading up to World War II to produce just about any plausibly useful weapon without properly testing it first. The Blackburn Botha was one such aircraft. It was supposed to be a maritime reconnaissance torpedo bomber, but its very poor performance eventually relegated it to training duties even while production was still occurring.
I've added a page for this sub par aircraft.

United Kingdom's Taylorcraft Auster reconnaissance added

I've added a new page for the United Kingdom's Taylorcraft Auster reconnaissance / liaison aircraft that was used in World War II. Often time these types of aircraft are overlooked by the more popular fighters and bombers, and I'm guilty of that as I hadn't known anything about this aircraft until I read about it.

Germany's Focke-Wulf Fw 200 Condor reconnaissance bomber updated

The Germans used the Focke-Wulf Fw 200 Condor mainly as a maritime reconnaissance plane as it could fly for long distances. However, several, out of the 252 produced during World War II were used for personal transports of the ruling elites. I've added specifications for the Fw 200C-3/U4 and some historical information.

United Kingdom's de Havilland DH.98 Mosquito updated

It still amazes me that the United Kingdom's de Havilland Mosquito was made primarily out of wood in World War II and flew so exceptionally well in so many roles! I've made some additions and added the specifications for the PR.Mk 34 reconnaissance version.

Germany's Junkers Ju 90 and Junkers Ju 290 reconnaissance

Added a page for one of the largest reconnaissance aircraft produced during World War II, the German Junkers Ju 290. I can't remember ever seeing many pictures of this aircraft, but with only 40 Ju 290s being produced it's no wonder.
