I've now updated my pages for the MiG-1 and MiG-3. The MiG-1 was a poor performer but the MiG-3 was much improved and turned out to be quite a good fighter against the Germans at high altitudes.

The Kyushu Q1W Tokai was developed and produced as an anti-submarine aircraft. However, it never did succeed in that mission.

I've updated the specifications, production data, and historical information on one the of the most un-Japanese like fighters in World War II, the Ki-61 Hien. It used a license built inline engine instead of the usual radial.

The Junkers Ju 86 was one of the first bombers used by the Luftwaffe. However, it didn't perform as well and was moved to secondary duties. The Ju 86 was later made into a very high altitude reconnaissance version with much success.

Also luckily for the Allies, especially the RAF, the Heinkel He 219 Uhu night fighter was only built in limited numbers. It was quite capable of even shooting down Mosquitos at night.

Fortunately for the Allies, Germany never had a successful heavy bomber in their arsenal. The only one that received any amount of production was the flawed Heinkel He 177 Greif.
